Fridge & Wine Cooler Swap
The stock fridge is ready to run out of the box, so this is a want-to, not a have-to. The swap tends to come up later — once the cart's been through a few parties and you decide the drinks it should really keep cold are bottles, not cans. It's not part of the initial setup.
The one number that matters
How to swap it
-
Measure your replacement
Check your wine cooler or fridge against the bay: 22" wide, 22" deep, 33.5" tall max. If it fits inside all three, it drops in.
-
Remove the stock fridge
Unplug it, back out the two screws holding it in the bay, and slide the 4.5 cu ft unit out. That's the entire removal.
-
Slide the new unit in
Set your replacement into the bay, secure it, and route its cord to the power tower the same way the stock fridge ran.
-
Power it up
Plug into the tower and let it come to temperature. A wine cooler and a fridge both run off the same GFCI outlet.
